Evening primrose oil from Phytomed is extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) and is known for its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (65–75% linoleic acid, 5–15% gamma-linolenic acid) as well as vitamin E. The oil has a calming, nourishing, caring, and regenerating effect. It is particularly suitable for normal, dry, sensitive, irritated, and mature skin and is used in skin creams in combination with oils rich in oleic acid.
