Phytomed's organic avocado oil is extracted from the flesh of the avocado fruit (Persea americana). It is characterised by a high proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids (50 - 70 % oleic acid, 5 - 13 % palmitoleic acid), phytosterols, carotenoids, vitamins A, E and D, lecithin and squalene. It is particularly mild, softening, rich, nourishing and regenerating for the skin and is quickly absorbed. Application: For the daily care of normal, chapped, dry, flaky and ageing skin, a good base for creams and body oils.
