Vallejo Weathering Effects

The innovative range of weathering effects offers model builders a new medium to depict the impact of weather influences and extreme climatic conditions on vehicles and tanks. The references in the range are formulated with permanent pigments and water-based acrylic resins, providing a variety of landscape possibilities, such as creating spilled fuel, engine grime, lichen and moisture, crushed grass, mud splashes, and fuel stains. Each product is designed to represent a specific effect on vehicles and tanks, showcasing their history of use under harsh conditions. The products can be applied directly to the base, dry quickly, and most allow for immediate further manipulation, except for thick mud, which requires a longer drying time. Tools can be cleaned with water and soap.

Applications: Moisture creates slime and patina on wood, tree trunks, rocks, and stone walls, docks, and posts, in various colors depending on the moisture. The slimy dirt represents the darkest shade, a black-green.
