Vallejo Weathering Effects

The innovative range of weathering effects offers the modeller a new medium for depicting the impact of exposure to weather and extreme climates on vehicles and armor. The references in the range are formulated with permanent pigments and water-based acrylic resins, providing a wide variety of scenic possibilities such as creating spilled fuel, engine grime, lichen and humidity, crushed grass, mud splashes, and fuel stains. Each product is developed to represent a specific effect on vehicles and armor, showcasing their operational history under harsh conditions. The products can be applied directly to the base, dry rapidly, and most allow for immediate further manipulation, with the exception of thick mud, which requires a longer drying time. Tools can be cleaned with water and soap.

Packaging: Environment effects are available in 40 ml (1.35 fl oz) pots.

Applications: Humidity generates slime and verdigris on wood, tree trunks, rocks, and stone walls, moorings, and pilings, in different colors depending on the humidity. Slimy grime dark recreates the darkest shade, a black-green.
