Vallejo Weathering Effects

The innovative range of weathering effects offers model builders a new medium to depict the impact of weather and extreme climate conditions on vehicles and tanks. The references in the range are formulated with permanent pigments and water-based acrylic resins, providing a wide variety of scenic possibilities, such as creating spilled fuel, engine grime, lichen and moisture, crushed grass, mud splashes, and fuel stains, each designed to represent a specific effect on vehicles and tanks and showcase their operational history under harsh conditions. The products can be applied directly to the base, dry quickly, and most allow for immediate further processing, except for thick mud, which requires a longer drying time. Tools can be cleaned with water and soap.

Packaging: Thick mud is available in 40 ml and 200 ml pots.

Applications: Very dark color found in earth-like substrates such as peat, which are very rich in plant material, as found in forested and moist areas in northern Europe.
