Tamiya F-4J Phantom II Marines

The stand model is a replica of the F4-J Phantom II, which was used by the USA during the Vietnam War in 1967. The Phantom II fighter jet was the one that initiated air battles and attacked the North Vietnamese MiGs.

The F4-J was equipped as a multirole aircraft with Mk.82 bombs and Sidewinder missiles for self-defense, and it frequently provided necessary support for ground units from the air. Production of the Phantom II ended in 1972, and it was then succeeded by the F-14 Tomcat and F/A 18 Hornet. A total of approximately 250 F-4J units were produced.
