The Marder III tank destroyer fought on many fronts during World War II. Until the introduction of the 88 mm guns, it was a very dangerous anti-tank weapon. The design of the Sd.Kfz. 139 was based on the chassis of the Panzer 38(t). Its main armament was a modified Soviet gun, adapted for German shells, the 7.62 cm PaK 36(r). The Marder III set, which includes the German base gun 5 cm Pak 38, was developed to match the figures in a 1:35 scale and consists of 486 building blocks. There are no stickers, only high-quality, durable prints. The model features include: functional track traction, rotating wheels, space for a figure in the fighting compartment, and a movable gun. The set also includes a street sign inspired by historical photos, bearing the name of the city El Alamein, where two significant battles of the North African campaign took place. The figures depict a German mechanic and an artilleryman. The set has been developed with attention to detail and is a perfect addition to the popular Historical Collection.
