Question about Oregon CS1500
Is the chain also lubricated when cutting horizontally? With many electric chainsaws, the oil pump only works properly when cutting is done vertically. When cutting horizontally for a long time (e.g. when felling a tree), the chain runs dry and no longer cuts. Is this better solved with the Oregon CS1500?

If the chain oil reservoir is nice and full it also works horizontally, otherwise it can happen that it doesn't fish... Greetings!
That's a good question, but I've never asked myself. I've felled a lot of trees with this chainsaw, and frankly the chain is still holding up very well. I check the oil level regularly (every hour) when I'm cutting. I even bought a 2nd chain, just in case, but haven't needed it yet. This is by far the best chainsaw I've ever bought.
The chain is lubricated in any position, otherwise it's a real mess.
