Hello, I have read that the trimmer thread is not exactly the best. Is it possible to wind a different thread? Maybe a thicker one (2.4mm)? Many thanks for your answers

Yes, that is possible. The bobbin is open and can be wound with new thread. The exit hole has enough play for a thicker thread. Drilling out would also work.

Yes, and I recommend the landi square thread, the cheapest available and the most aggressive I've tried with this machine.
