Question about Gardena Smart Sileno City
Does the robot need a boundary wire or not? One is included in the delivery. At the same time it is mentioned that : "Through garden mapping, Lona scans and maps the environment with the help of GPS..." so what now? 🤷 I want a new robot without a boundary wire. Any recommendations?
I have also laid a boundary wire, which is also well described. The installation of the guide wire for this is poorly described for me. Installing and using the Gardena app and smart system is a matter of luck. I have also not found any "decent" operating instructions for the GARDENA smart system app.

I would opt for a different product today (GPS controlled).
I have laid the boundary wire. It's no big deal. I can't say whether this model also works via GPS. I have had good experience with the boundary wire. I don't know whether the GPS signal works accurately. I prefer to play it safe and know with the boundary wire that it works and can therefore control the mower quite precisely. But to each his own.
