And how do you use the module if the SIM subscription is no longer valid after 3 years?

One "must/can" renew the subscription for a yet unknown "small" amount. This is how it is communicated by Worx. Otherwise, you simply use the robot without anti-theft protection. Because thanks to the anti-theft screw, you can no longer remove the existing module (as far as I know).
