An axe like this one from the Norwegian knife and tool manufacturer Øyo should be an essential part of any cabin or woodland owner's basic equipment. It is lightweight and features an ergonomically shaped handle. This smaller version of the splitting axe is particularly suitable for wood with a diameter of up to 15 cm. The axe has a specially shaped head that facilitates splitting wood and effectively reduces the risk of the axe getting stuck in the wood.
