To reach deeply seated screws, the blade diameter of conventional electrician screwdrivers is often too large. However, removing the insulation is not permissible and endangers your own safety. With the specially developed Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY for electrical applications, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade, allowing for blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This way, slimBits can easily reach deeply seated screws and spring elements. The insulated slimBits are subjected to a piece inspection according to the international standard IEC 60900, enabling safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. 6 mm slimBits can only be used with the slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system). Tested according to IEC 60900.
