The blade diameter of conventional electrician screwdrivers is often too large to reach recessed screws. However, removing the insulation is not permissible and endangers your safety. With Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, specifically developed for electrical applications, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade, allowing for blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This way, slimBits can easily reach recessed screws and spring elements. The insulated slimBits are subjected to a piece test according to the international standard IEC 60900, enabling safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. 6 mm slimBits can only be used with the slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system). Tested according to IEC 60900.
