Stihl PolyCut 48-2 mowing head

For noise reduction and a significant increase in energy efficiency when mowing dense grass with the brushcutter, the PolyCut 48-2 mowing head is equipped with two robust plastic blades instead of a mowing line. This allows you to work significantly longer per battery charge with your cordless brushcutter. In the case of gas-powered brushcutters, using plastic blades results in lower fuel consumption compared to mowing with a line. The package also includes six additional plastic blades as replacements. Optionally, you can equip the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 with a mowing line with a diameter of 2.4 mm or 2.7 mm, which is particularly suitable for work along curbs or other obstacles. The STIHL plastic blades can be easily replaced. After blocking the shaft with the supplied pin, you can unscrew the mowing head and change the blades. To reduce wear and increase cutting height, the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 comes standard with a protective plate. The STIHL PolyCut 48-2 mowing head is compatible with the following STIHL brushcutters and clearing saws: STIHL FS 311 and STIHL FS 360. Additionally, this mowing head can be used with the discontinued brushcutters STIHL FS 160, STIHL FS 220, STIHL FS 300, and STIHL FS 350. Note: Mowing heads may only be used with a special mowing guard or a STIHL universal guard for mowing heads and metal tools.
