Philips Hue Lightstrips Extension
RGBW, 100 cm, Indoor
Is only an extension for existing light strips
The extension is extended with a connector, everything should be included. The part you cut off can theoretically no longer be used, unless you know how to solder. There are a few videos on youtube that I can recommend. I had no idea about this at first 😅 I hope I was able to help you a little.
Yes, with a small connector included in the box: https://www2.meethue.com/en-gb/p/hue-white-and-colour-ambience-lightstrip-plus-extension/7190255PH
Hello Roberto-vn Apparently the predecessor (lightstrip) was not expandable like the lightstrip plus. In addition, the width and height are not the same. Therefore, you cannot connect a plus extension to the predecessor. You can find a good overview at the following link: https://justclickappliances.com/philips-hue-lightstrip-vs-plus-whats-difference/ Kind regards
This is only the extension, which cannot be used by itself. You need a Lightstrips+ for it. You can get both here: Philips Hue Lightstrips+ and extension (300cm, multicoloured) It's a bit confusing because of the plus in the product name...
Maximum 8 extensions , therefore the maximum length is 10 metres.
I don't think that these products fit together. The dimensions alone speak against it. Extension: width: 1.5 cm, thickness 0.5 cm at 800 lumens. Your product: width: 1.1 cm, thickness 0.3 cm at 120 lumens. The extension belongs to the article with the Digitec no.: 5628456.
The article here is only an extension for existing Lightstrips. And the Lightstrips themselves need a Hue Bridge to work. But the Hue Bridge itself is HomeKit compatible and can therefore be controlled with the Home App and with Siri.
Yes, it's multi-coloured. RGBW defines the individual LEDs mounted on the strip, but that make the colours together. No, this is not supplied with it. It's a 1m extension.
They both light up the same. If you extend a basic package with an extension, they become ONE lamp, so to speak, and cannot be controlled individually.
You need the Philips Hue Bridge. With this and the corresponding app, you can then add new lamps.
There was indeed an error in our system. Thank you for your attention! :) the basic package has 1600 lumens and the extension package 800lm.
