The smartphone is only needed to program/set up the timer. Once set, the whole thing works even when you are out of the house.

The Max Smart 2.0 app supports mobile phones up to iOS 13 or Android 10.
As the product series has been discontinued in 2019, there will unfortunately be no more updates.
Until recently, the app was still available on all stores, but unfortunately Apple, as well as Google, have now decided to remove our app, as the existing version no longer meets the current standards.
Unfortunately, app-controlled products as well as software products have a supported lifetime. Since the hardware of MaxSmart is also older, it is unfortunately no longer possible to meet all of today's requirements from a technical point of view.
They should please keep the app for their products up to date!
That is not up to date. Max Hauri products are not sustainable and are nothing but environmentally harmful electronic waste.
Never buy Max Hauri again?
Hello, yes it must play, but as it is in bluetooth it does not work as well as WiFi controlled plugs (MyStrom, TPLink,...) which also bring other functions

Hello,
I wanted to use the Clip-Clap Switch too, but I also noticed this behaviour.
It works for a while, but then suddenly no longer.
After several attempts, I still haven't found out what's wrong.
It would be good if the manufacturer could describe how to programme the device correctly for continuous operation and what is stored and for how long.

Switching is possible by means of an app via iPad or iPhone (only new verses more than 4). If the console can also load the mh app, the blootooth channel could be used. A schedule can also be edited.

The random generator only works if a clip clap device is recognised and can be found in the app.

Yes. The plug and the coupling are type 13 (three-pole recessed). The coupling is even equipped with a child safety lock.
You can control up to 10 units with the app. See operating instructions on page 3.
