Based on reviews from previous buyers, it unfortunately does not seem to be possible to carry a pair of skis as well as a snowboard (apparently either two pairs of skis or two snowboards).

I have already done that. You have to pull on both metal brackets with a lot of force. Two at a time, if necessary. I then ran a thin knife between them. Then it works.

It would work, but only for 2skis + 2snow or 4snow. It only opens to one side (to the left), so to open and close the skis section would be complicated from the non-drivers side. 4snow would be ok since it uses rubber bands to fix them instead of the key system.
I've had the ski rack for two years and for the price, of course, I got one rack for the front and one for the rear.

Should work. I had it on a Porsche 911 and it worked. If the curvature of the roof is not too big (it tends not to be on the Range Rover) and the distance between the beams is big enough, then no problem.

When it is opened, there is a little metallic loop that you can see. you have to pull vertically from that loop, it is connected to the magnetic plate and it will lift it. it takes some force.

Yes I don't see the problem with this suction cup, I have a Suzuki SWIFT and it goes very well on it.
There is only one safety line for the front and one for the rear car door. This is "fixed" either on the driver's or the passenger's side.
Roof rails should not be a problem in my opinion. The roof must be flat only where the carrier is mounted (magnetically "glued").

Hi Patnal74, unfortunately that won't work. Especially the 22 cm won't be enough and the bent sheet metal won't hold. I had the same problem and had to return the carriers. Many greetings

I have looked at the operating instructions again, but have not found anything that speaks against it. Only the maximum permitted roof load, but this should not be limiting (in my case 50 or 75 kg).
