Do they fit on a Renault Megane Grandtour with roof rails? Is there a "safety line" that clips into the driver and passenger door on both sides?- If so, it can cause problems in that the fastener would not be able to pass under the railing. Could you post the link to the instruction manual?

There is only one safety line for the front and one for the rear car door. This is "fixed" either on the driver's or the passenger's side.

Roof rails should not be a problem in my opinion. The roof must be flat only where the carrier is mounted (magnetically "glued").
