Product details
The Monstera Deliciosa is also known as the Swiss cheese plant. The plant gets its name from its unique leaf shape. As the name suggests, the leaves are full of holes. These holes not only look beautiful but are also very useful in nature. They prevent the plant from being blown over in a storm, as most of the wind and rain pass through the holes. Originally, the Monstera comes from South and Central America, where it often grows up tree trunks or creeps along the ground. Therefore, this plant is supplied with a moss pole on which it can grow.
Care
The Monstera is originally a tropical plant. Therefore, it prefers slightly moist soil. Make sure that no water accumulates at the bottom of the pot. Try to mist the leaves of the Monstera regularly to prevent the edges of the leaves from drying out. The Monstera can grow very quickly and develop long branches several meters in length. It is also good to know that the Monstera is toxic. Therefore, place the plant in a location where children and pets cannot reach it. However, ensure that the plant is in partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight to keep your Monstera happy. And it will give you a lot in return. The Monstera is an air purifier, meaning it produces oxygen and filters out pollutants.
