Product details
The popular Monstera deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant) is also known for its unique leaves. The plant features holes in its leaves, and the larger the plant, the more holes the leaves develop. Monstera deliciosa is currently one of the most popular houseplants, and for good reason. It is a very robust indoor plant that can be placed in many areas of the home. Additionally, the Swiss cheese plant has strong air-purifying properties and can grow quickly. Monstera is a tropical climbing plant that can climb extremely high. Its characteristic aerial roots absorb nutrients and moisture from both the tree trunk and the air. In the jungle, it is usually dark, which is why the hole plant thrives well in shady spots.
Care
Monstera deliciosa is a creeping climbing plant that tolerates dryness well but prefers plenty of water. Make sure the potting soil remains slightly moist at all times. Furthermore, as mentioned, the Swiss cheese plant is not a difficult plant in terms of location, as it does not require much sunlight. Once the plant is happy, it can produce several new leaves per year. At very low temperatures of ten degrees or less, the growth rate significantly decreases.
