Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: Almost all absorbent and non-absorbent materials are suitable as substrates, except PE, PP, PTFE, etc. The substrate must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Smooth surfaces should be roughened (e.g. with sandpaper). Ideally, the bonding surface should be cleaned with alcohol beforehand. Application: Apply adhesive to highly absorbent materials (paper, felt, etc.): The adhesive must be applied thinly on one side of one of the bonding surfaces. The glued parts can then be joined together. It is possible to correct the parts to be bonded. Applying adhesive to solid absorbent materials (wood, craft cardboard, etc.): The adhesive must be applied to one side of a gluing surface and the glued parts joined together. Exact alignment of the parts to be glued is possible. The adhesive must dry for several hours. Apply adhesive to solid, non-absorbent materials (plastic, aluminium, Styropor®): The adhesive must be applied to both bonding surfaces (both sides) and then left to air out for 3 minutes. It is possible to align the glued surfaces precisely for a short time after the glued parts have been joined. Allow the adhesive to dry overnight. The setting time depends on the climate and material. Final strength is achieved after 24 hours. Before closing, the tip and the closure must be cleaned of adhesive residue. Cleaning: Clean immediately after employees with alcohol or water. Wipe dry. Storage: Store in a frost-free, cool and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. |
