Offers up to three times longer runtime and up to twice the battery life compared to other lithium-ion technologies and/or previous Milwaukee battery technology (results depend on the tool and application). Redlithium protection with digital Redlink overload protection prevents users from damaging their investment in cordless power tools in abusive situations. Individual cell monitoring ensures optimal charging and discharging for maximum lifespan. Integrated welded frame battery construction with shock-sensitive separators prevents battery failure due to excessive vibrations or drops. Can be used in extreme temperatures of up to -20 °C without affecting runtime and battery lifespan. Discharge protection prevents cell damage due to over-discharge.
