The patented Metabo handle system features an additional switch that increases the reach by up to 50%. Despite its power, the hedge trimmer is lightweight, allowing for fatigue-free operation. For added safety, it has a patented mechanical blade quick stop that activates in just 0.05 seconds. The special geometry of the blade reduces wear and extends the service life by an impressive 200%. The double-sided diamond-ground blade teeth with a 30° angle ensure a clean cut. The safety under-blades provide high work safety, and the Metabo S-automatic safety coupling protects the blades and gear from blockages caused by foreign objects. The ergonomically shaped loop handle and optimal center of gravity allow for fatigue-free working. Thanks to the opposing shear blades, the hedge trimmer operates particularly quietly. The machine exhaust is directed in a user-friendly manner, and carbon brush and cable changes can be easily performed thanks to a corresponding flap. A cable strain relief also prevents unintentional disconnections of the cable plug connection.
