The D-fuse system is a first-generation screw fuse system that is still widely used in installations. It is applied in low-voltage systems where the fuse inserts are accessible to non-professionals and can be replaced by them. The D-fuse range includes sizes NDZ, DII, DIII, DIV, and DV. D-fuse bases with D-fuse inserts of the gG operating class are used to protect cables and installations. D-fuse inserts reliably disconnect excessive overloads and short-circuit currents up to the rated disconnection current. They also protect electrical devices and installations from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents. DIN VDE 0636-3. The screw inserts and the design of the fuses ensure that no larger fuses can be screwed in than what is permissible for the circuit. EAN: 4086500008988.
