The IP55 protection rating includes complete dust and touch protection (IP5X) as well as protection against water jets (IPX5). This is ensured when the IP55 plug is inserted and the hinged cover is closed. Even after years of outdoor exposure, the cable will not become brittle, as it is resistant to UV rays, oil, and acids. The safety mark S guarantees high safety. The locking brake allows the reel to be secured so that the cable does not unintentionally unwind under tension. The sturdy double-tube frame ensures stable standing even under load. A thermal protection feature is integrated into the cable reel to prevent overheating.
