The new XGT batteries are specially designed for tough useLi-ion battery of the XGT series with 40 V max. and a capacity of 4.0 Ah. Charged to 80% in 31 minutes and fully charged in 45 minutes with the DC40RA charger. Four green LEDs show the remaining capacity of the battery. The battery housing is designed for tough construction site use and meets the IP64 protection standard. The Makita XGT series sets new standards and expands the application possibilities of cordless machines that were previously reserved for mains-powered machines. The 40 V max. class complements the proven 18 V LXT product range and offers users a solution that can handle particularly power-intensive work. The new batteries are specially designed to deliver higher discharge currents. This means they can withstand the demands of tough use and continuously deliver maximum power. The internal battery cells are even more protected against dust and water. The improved, shock-absorbing housing makes the batteries even more robust and safe. Digital communication between the battery, the machine and the charger ensures optimal performance of all three components. With this digital communication, noticeably longer runtimes are also achieved with one battery charge, depending on the application.
