The adjustable wrench replaces a set of wrenches, both metric and imperial. The smooth jaws allow for gentle installation of surface-finished fittings and work directly on chrome. It is also excellent for gripping, holding, pressing, and bending workpieces without damaging edges on sensitive fittings due to its play-free, full-surface contact. The quick adjustment at the push of a button occurs directly on the workpiece, preventing unintentional adjustments of the gripping jaws and slippage of the joint. The stroke between the gripping jaws allows for quick tightening and loosening of screw connections using a ratcheting principle. The high clamping force is achieved through a tenfold amplification of hand force.
