The adjustable wrench replaces a set of wrenches, both metric and imperial. The smooth jaws allow for gentle assembly of surface-finished fittings and work directly on chrome. It is also excellent for gripping, holding, pressing, and bending workpieces. There is no edge damage to sensitive fittings due to the play-free, full-surface contact. Quick adjustment is achieved with a push of a button directly on the workpiece, preventing unintentional adjustments of the gripping jaws and slippage of the joint. The stroke between the gripping jaws enables quick tightening and loosening of screw connections using a ratcheting principle. The high clamping force is achieved through a 10-fold amplification of hand force.
