The Knipex-Werk Adjustable Wrench 86 06 250 SB replaces a set of wrenches, both metric and imperial. The smooth jaws allow for gentle assembly of surface-finished fittings, making it ideal for work directly on chrome.

The practical adjustment scale, which is laser-etched (metric and imperial), allows for a pre-setting of the jaw opening. It is excellently suited for gripping, holding, pressing, and bending workpieces. There is no edge damage to sensitive surfaces due to the play-free, full-surface contact.

There is no unintended adjustment of the gripping jaws and no slipping of the joint. The infinitely variable gripping of all jaw widths up to the specified capacity is achieved through parallel-guided jaws. The stroke between the gripping jaws allows for quick tightening and loosening of screw connections using a ratcheting principle.

The high clamping force is achieved through a 10-fold increase in hand force.
