Epoxy resin LuminaCast 1 Fast Set Primer is a flawless, durable, and fast primer and sealer. This product allows you to prime wood, ensuring there are no bubbles on the object. You can also apply a final coat to your epoxy resin molding, such as coasters. Typically, this is sanded with 120 grit sandpaper and cleaned with isopropanol. The casting can then be covered with LuminaCast 1 Fast Set Primer. The epoxy resin piece is transparent and clear.

Note: The LuminaCast 6 Art Flow epoxy resin is also ideal for the wave technique, creating the desired cells.

Application examples include priming and sealing of absorbent or porous materials. It is specially developed for sealing wood and other absorbent substrates, effectively reducing or eliminating the risk of rising bubbles, such as sealing wood before molding into tabletops.

Thanks to its low viscosity, it penetrates deep into fibers and absorbent surfaces, providing a fast and effective seal. It can be used for the production of multi-layer sealers, such as floor primers, with LC1 Fast Set Primer as a fixative.

The formulation is free from substances of very high concern (sVHC) or CoRAP substances. After complete chemical curing, the product can come into contact with food.

At room temperature, the primer can be poured over after 60-120 minutes. The recommended casting height (at 20°C) is between 1 mm and 7 mm. The pot life is approximately 15 minutes, and it can be poured over after about 60 to 120 minutes. The consistency is thin (low viscosity).

This product is a chemical and is offered for sale by Galaxus, but shipped by an external supplier.
