Set with 2 18-Volt Powerstack batteries based on innovative pouch cell technology. These batteries can be used in all 18-Volt XR battery-powered devices. Compared to conventional cylindrical batteries with the same voltage level and comparable capacity, they offer the following advantages:

1. Lower internal resistance of the cells allows for more efficient current flow, resulting in a significantly higher power output of up to 50% in certain applications.
2. Significantly longer runtime per battery charge.
3. Higher number of charge cycles and longer lifespan due to more efficient temperature control and better heat dissipation, thanks to the large flat outer shape of the cells and the optimal surface-to-volume ratio.

There is no memory effect and minimal self-discharge, ensuring hassle-free long-term use. They are ideally suited for tough everyday use due to the robust battery casing and shock-resistant soldered cells. The lowest contact resistance when connecting the individual cells and the large contacts are protected against accidental short-circuiting. A reliable capacity indicator with 3 LEDs allows for controllable usage.

These batteries are compatible with all battery tools from the DeWALT 18 Volt XR battery series and can be charged with all DeWALT XR system fast chargers.
