The two ProCORE 18V 8.0 Ah Professional battery packs are high-performance lithium-ion batteries with a voltage of 18 volts that deliver the same power as a 2,000 watt corded tool. In combination with Bosch's intelligent battery management and the new cell technology, the ProCORE batteries offer 87% more power than conventional batteries with optimised size and minimal weight. The CoolPack 2.0 technology optimises heat dissipation from the inside to the outside of the battery and ensures a longer runtime and a 135% longer service life compared to batteries without a CoolPack. Thanks to lithium-ion technology, there is no self-discharge of the battery and no memory effect, the battery is always ready for use. The GAL 18V-160 Professional quick charger charges with a charging current of 16 A, meaning that the ProCORE 18V 8.0Ah battery, for example, is charged to 50% in just 15 minutes and to 100% in 44 minutes. Active air cooling extends the service life of the batteries. GAL 18V-160 Professional batteries and charger are part of the AMPShare Alliance.
