The AdvancedPrune 18V-45 is a high-performance garden shear that reduces physical effort when cutting. Its unique 360° trigger, combined with a slim design, allows for pruning in tight spaces, regardless of the working angle. Thanks to the durable stainless steel blades, it can effortlessly cut through softwood up to 45 mm thick, promoting healthy regrowth. To reach hard-to-access branches, you can extend the tool's length from 1.2 m to 1.8 m by attaching an extension pole. A hook on the blade facilitates easy access and removal of thick and tangled branches. When fully charged, this device has a cutting capacity of around 600 cuts on 30 mm branches, achieving a speed of less than 1.2 seconds per branch, thanks to Quick-Cut technology. The battery status indicator on the handle provides a clear display of energy status even during operation. The integrated Bosch Syneon technology ensures optimal performance and maximum runtime. The tool is part of the 18V Power-For-All system, allowing one battery to be used across all 18V Power-For-All devices.

With the AdvancedPrune 18V-45 cordless pruning shears, Bosch (www.bosch-pt.de, just under 300 euros) is launching an easy-to-use cordless tool for shrub and tree care. The device makes it easy to cut branches up to a diameter of around 45 millimetres. The shears can be used at a greater range of up to almost 2 metres with an extension that can be stowed directly on the device.
The new Advanced Prune 18V-45 takes a little getting used to for the first few cuts. After that, it impresses with the familiar Bosch qualities and gets the job done quickly and safely.
