The BioLite FirePit is a pretty practical addition to camping equipment or even for barbecues on the balcony or terrace for several reasons: it works with logs or charcoal, effectively produces no smoke and ensures an optimal fire thanks to sophisticated technology. For this purpose, the smart fireplace is equipped with a fan and 51 air nozzles inside. While the latter are located at various points in the interior of the FirePit+ and supply the fire with oxygen, the fan sits in the power pack on the side of the smart camping tool. How strongly the fire is ventilated can be controlled directly via a simple control panel on the power pack - or the intensity can be regulated in four stages via the app. When the power pack is not being used to light a fire, it can be used as an energy source for smartphones, tablets and the like.
