The Baufan Styrofoam Adhesive is a ready-to-use, white dispersion adhesive characterized by its paste-like consistency and high initial adhesion. It is ideally suited for bonding ceiling panels, decorative and insulation boards, as well as decorative profiles and underlays made of Styrofoam and rigid foam in indoor applications. The adhesive can be applied to various substrates such as concrete, aerated concrete, masonry, and gypsum boards, provided they are clean, dry, and load-bearing. Before application, the adhesive should be thoroughly stirred to achieve optimal results. It can be applied either by dot or edge bonding or by full-surface bonding using a notched trowel. Once dry, the bonded surfaces can be painted or wallpapered.
