The charger automatically starts the charging process as soon as the charging adapter makes contact with the battery. After charging is complete, the charger automatically switches to maintenance charging. It can also be used as a replacement or secondary charger for the former Mansfield HD-DC-18 charger.

Technical specifications (not an original Mansfield charger): Charger suitable for NiMH batteries, charges tool batteries from 1.2 Volt to 18 Volt. Input: 100 - 240 Volt, 200 mA. Output: 1.2 - 18V with a maximum of 1000mA. Charging status is indicated by the LED display: Charge LED red (steady light): charging in progress, Charge LED green (steady light): battery full, charging completed. Weight: approximately 232 grams, color black. Not suitable for newer Li-ion batteries. Delivery without battery.
