The 3M Dual Lock pressure seal tape SJ3560 is made of transparent polypropylene. The smooth reverse side has a clear acrylic adhesive, while the top side has 40 mushroom heads per cm². When closed, the flexible pressure seal is 58 mm thick. After 1,000 open-close cycles, the flexible pressure seal still offers at least 50 % of its original tensile strength. The tape is resistant to long-term temperature differences between -30 °C and 70 °C (95 °C in the short term) and is designed for indoor and outdoor use. It is suitable for bonding to metal (aluminium, stainless steel), glass and plastic materials with high surface energy (acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS). After 1,000 open-close cycles, at least 50 % of the original tensile strength is still present.
