Question about Petzl Ouistiti

The loops do not need to be tightened, this can be done using the remaining straps.
It was the perfect safety device for us with our 3.5-year-old son.

Is ok for hiking, everything is quite easy to adjust, the fastening loop on the back can then be used. Is the 100% secure solution. In the long run, however, it is a bit cumbersome to put on and take off compared to the hip belt.
