The two fins can be connected at the toe area using a clip closure, making them easier to transport. The flat front part of the fin delivers power to your leg movements. The longer and/or stiffer the fin blade, the more powerful the fin stroke. Conversely, the shorter and/or more flexible the fin blade, the less powerful the fin stroke. The foot part of the fins is usually completely closed. However, in adjustable models, the foot is held in place by a strap.
