Subea Aquashoes

With sporty aqua shoes, you can explore watercourses, beaches and bays while swimming or walking. The water drains away quickly, so you can go straight from land into the water without having to change your shoes. The Aquashoes 500 were developed for snorkelling, water walking and hiking on land. They are ideal for exploring the underwater world and walking over pebbles, sand and rocks. They are also suitable for other water sports activities such as canoeing, kayaking and SUP. The upper of the shoes is made from Seaqual yarn, which is made from recycled plastics, with 10% coming directly from waste collected from the oceans, beaches and rivers. Through a joint effort of fishermen, NGOs and volunteers, the marine litter is collected, sorted and cleaned before being mixed with recycled plastic (e.g. plastic bottles). This is then transformed into high-quality recycled yarn. The aqua shoes can be machine washed at an optimal 30 °C with a little detergent (delicate cycle). They can then be left to dry in the air, but not in the blazing sun. It is also possible to walk on rocks with the Decathlon 500 aqua shoes. However, you should be careful if the rock is slippery or full of algae, as the grip may deteriorate.
