Product details

The classic and robust figure eight has been developed by our engineers to accompany you while rappelling in the canyon. It is a medium-sized figure eight for single or double ropes. The manual brake device of type 1 is a rappel device without a friction adjustment function. It features a connection point for attaching the figure eight to the harness using a locking carabiner according to EN 12275. The figure eight is suitable for use with static ropes according to EN 1891, type A with diameters between 9.5 and 10.2 mm and type B with diameters between 9 and 9.5 mm.

The MK 100 figure eight should only be used by trained individuals or by a user under the direct supervision of a qualified and experienced person. The free end of the rope must be continuously controlled by the braking hand. The braking effect depends on the diameter, the glide properties, and the moisture content of the rope. Please note that commercially available ropes may have a diameter tolerance of up to +/- 0.2 mm. The diameter of a rope and its properties may vary depending on its use.
