The Scubapro Seawing Supernova fins represent the successor model to the Seawing Nova series, offering enhanced performance, construction, fit, and usability for recreational and professional divers. These fins feature Pivot Control Technology (PCT) that maintains an optimal blade angle between 40 and 50 degrees during forward motion. The innovative central panel automatically adjusts the blade angle based on finning force, reducing effort during relaxed swimming while providing maximum power when needed. The Hydra Loop system channels water backward through the central blade area for improved efficiency and propulsion. The dual-point winglets enhance control and maneuverability, particularly during frog kicks and other specialized finning techniques. Constructed from high-quality Monprene material for durability, these fins feature a two-part design with separate blade and foot pocket components connected via the robust Socket-Lock Connecting System, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly. The included open-heel foot pocket features a sturdy bungee strap for a secure fit with various dive boots, while an optional closed-heel foot pocket is available separately for warm-water diving without footwear. The closed-heel version includes an improved heel design to prevent slipping and chafing. Sizing accommodates different foot widths, with specific size ranges for normal, narrow, and wide feet.
