The new Independent axles of the MiD series feature a lower hanger profile for an optimal mounting angle on the nose and tail for flip tricks, ledges, and all-around street skating, with a recommended wheel size of 53 mm and smaller.
The newly developed and first Independent Inverted Kingpin can be used with either a 5.5 mm Allen key or a standard 9/16" hex key. The innovative new axle nut in the baseplate provides a rigid and durable solution against lateral movement, which occurs in most inverted kingpin designs, and increases adjustment options.
The new MiD is 52 mm high and is based on the legendary geometry of Independent 6 with full-size cushions for maximum turning action, available in sizes 129, 139, 144, 149, and 159.
The completely new design includes a new baseplate stamp and the size designation below the hanger for easy identification.
