The newly developed and first independent inverted kingpin can be used with either a 5.5 mm hex key or a standard 9/16" hex key. The innovative new axle nut in the baseplate provides a stiff and durable solution against lateral movement, which occurs with most inverted kingpins, and increases adjustment options. The new MiD is 52 mm tall and is based on Independent's legendary geometry with full-size cushions for maximum maneuverability. It is available in sizes 129, 139, 144, 149, and 159. A356 T6 aluminum hanger and baseplate, the best lightweight aluminum alloy, heat-treated in T6 condition for strength, durability, and grind feel.
