Additionally, they have a 3.5 mm thin, two-part sole construction that makes the shoe relatively soft and flexible. This makes them particularly well-suited for steep overhangs like training boards or for standing on friction, which is often required in many modern boulder problems. The moderate pre-tensioning facilitates heel hooking, further enhancing the shoes' performance on overhangs.
