Product details

The Shield is a lightweight climbing helmet (In-Mold construction) from EDELRID, which can be quickly adjusted to the shape of the head thanks to the Wing-Fit system with a dial at the back, providing excellent support. Due to its super lightweight design, these helmets are also referred to as softshell helmets. The Shield features a foam EPS core and a robust polycarbonate shell. Inside the helmet, there is a soft, removable foam padding (washable) with Velcro. The innovative closure system includes a fully adjustable chin strap with side-mounted buckles, ensuring outstanding comfort. Large ventilation openings also provide excellent airflow during long tours in alpine terrain. This makes the Shield from EDELRID the perfect helmet for long and challenging climbing and via ferrata tours.
