Product details

The Shield is a lightweight climbing helmet (In-Mold construction) from EDELRID, which can be quickly adjusted to the shape of the head thanks to the Wing-Fit system with a dial at the back, providing a very good fit. Due to its super lightweight design, these helmets are also referred to as softshell helmets. The Shield is constructed with a foam EPS core and a robust polycarbonate shell. Inside the helmet, there is a soft, removable foam padding (washable) secured with Velcro. The innovative closure system features a fully adjustable chin strap with side-mounted buckles, offering excellent comfort. Large ventilation openings ensure outstanding airflow even on long tours in alpine terrain. Thus, the Shield from EDELRID is the ideal helmet for long and demanding climbing and via ferrata tours.
