Indeed, there are no concerns about the separation of the coffee container from the water tank. If the question is about the odour seal, or the loss of aroma of the coffee beans, this is not a problem either. The coffee container is not very large, and the coffee is consumed much faster than the possible loss of aroma :-) Greetings, Pierre

I agree with the previous writer: It can only make coffee, but very well. I already own the second machine. And in the meantime I repair the thing myself (change seals, replace general wear and tear). There are great descriptions at www.komtra.de and also the necessary, mega-cheap spare parts. Conclusion: a super coffee machine that simply does what you bought it for. It makes great coffee. I can only recommend it. Because compare the price. Top. Best regards

These machines consist of an incredible number of parts, all of which can break. I had to dispose of my old TurMix because Turmix refused to give me spare parts. What is the situation with Melitta? Is that also a Tavora brand?

The appliance is extremely easy to service, few Torx screws, everything is easily accessible. Mine is already a few years old, because I wasn't using a water filter, I had a calcification in the connection of the water tank. I was able to dismantle and clean everything in 20 minutes. Melitta spare parts are readily available on the market. The brewing units are mostly the same for the different types (system construction). There are also plenty of instructions available showing how to dismantle and clean the grinder.

The machine can make black coffee, nothing else. Why it says hot water function is beyond me.

Why is the model with the colour silver approx. 90.- cheaper (energy level B) than the "identical" machine in black (energy level A)? Explanation for the different energy levels?

The energy efficiency class was recorded incorrectly. Both colours belong to category "A". Prices may differ depending on the supplier and purchasing conditions. It is also possible that one colour is on offer and the other is not.

I received a machine with an EU plug, but I didn't see this in the description. Is this machine available with a CH plug at all?

Lately, my machine has been letting more and more water through into the coffee grounds container - instead of dry crumbs, there is brown sludge floating around. Is this a general problem with the machine? Can it be repaired?
