Meater Meat thermometer
Yes, the Plus has a BT amplifier built into the station and therefore has a greater range. The price difference was too great for me and I have to say that I get along well with the approx. 4 metres. It's a reason to stand next to the barbecue with a beer in hand at all times ;-)
Should basically be possible according to the Meater webpage, temperature up to 275 degrees is OK. The connection is where I see the most problems. When I use the Meater in the oven, I always connect it via an iPad, which then stays near the oven and acts as a relay station via WLAN to the iPhone. But otherwise a great product, works perfectly to bring the meat to the desired cooking level.
The sensor should be in the flesh up to the mark. The battery is probably in the area and will not heat up to 300 degrees (you don't want such a high internal temperature).
This does not work. It works open in the oven when the mobile is very close.
This also works. There is a maximum temperature for the meater. However, I cannot imagine that this will be exceeded during a normal baking process. So the core temperature and the oven temperature can also be measured when baking a cake.
Unfortunately, the two desired models are not yet available.
There is a rechargeable battery in the thermometer. Unfortunately, I don't know how exactly the battery will survive the temperatures. There is also a AAA battery inside the wooden block, which charges the battery in the thermometer as soon as the thermometer is in the wooden holder.
