Question about Meater Meat thermometer
is this also suitable for meat in the smoker, for example brisket or pulled pork?
Should basically be possible according to the Meater webpage, temperature up to 275 degrees is OK. The connection is where I see the most problems. When I use the Meater in the oven, I always connect it via an iPad, which then stays near the oven and acts as a relay station via WLAN to the iPhone.
But otherwise a great product, works perfectly to bring the meat to the desired cooking level.
